Youth Leadership in Action A 4-Day Prime Minister’s National Youth Council Leadership Training in Islamabad, bringing together young leaders to learn, connect and take action for a climate-resilient, inclusive and future-ready Pakistan. Focusing on Climate Resilience, Green Skills & Green Jobs, Population Dynamics & Youth Development, SRHR, and Gender-Based Violence Prevention & Positive Masculinity.Over these four days, young leaders will strengthen their knowledge, leadership skills and capacity to drive meaningful change in their communities. Leadership begins with informed, empowered and engaged young people. Dr. Gulnara Kadyrkulova, representing UNFPA, delivered the Opening Remarks at the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council Leadership Training, highlighting the importance of investing in young people and strengthening their role in shaping a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable future. The training is organized by ACT in collaboration with PMYP and UNFPA. Ms. Amna Batool, MNA & Focal Person, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), addressed young leaders at the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council Leadership Training, sharing PMYP’s vision for strengthening youth leadership, volunteerism and community impact across Pakistan. In her address, she emphasized the important role of National Youth Council members in representing the voices and aspirations of young people and translating leadership into meaningful action at the community level. She highlighted the expectations from NYC members as young leaders who can inspire their peers, strengthen civic participation and contribute their ideas and energy toward Pakistan’s development. Interactive learning and engagement facilitated by Ms. Amna Batool, MNA & Focal Person, PMYP; Dr. Muhammad Ali Malik, Joint Secretary, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP); Rizwan Basir, Lead Trainer; and Ms. Nirmeen, covering youth development, leadership, future skills, advocacy and pathways for meaningful action.
