On 27th January 2026, ACT International had the honor of hosting an EU mission visit to the beneficiaries of the PAIDAAR project in Sindh. The mission visited several businesses that have been supported through the project, witnessing firsthand the positive impact on local entrepreneurs and their communities. This visit was an essential part of understanding the direct outcomes of ACT International's efforts in empowering small businesses and fostering sustainable economic growth in underdeveloped districts.
Following the visit to the beneficiaries, the mission team proceeded to ACT's Sindh Provincial Office, where they were given an in-depth demonstration of our Management Information System (MIS) for grant mechanisms. The demonstration highlighted how ACT's digitalization efforts are improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in the grant distribution process.
The integration of a robust digital system is transforming the way grants are managed, enabling us to streamline operations, track funds more effectively, and ensure that resources are being allocated to the most deserving communities. Through this collaboration and innovation, ACT International is taking significant strides in enhancing the grant mechanism in districts like Thatta-Sindh, where such systems can drive long-term development and create lasting change.
