ACT International is pleased to announce the signing of a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) to support the implementation of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Out-of-School Children (OOSC) Action Plan.

Under this collaboration, ACT International will lead a comprehensive household-level survey in UC-16 Darwala to identify out-of-school children, early-age learners, and illiterate adults. The initiative will also focus on community mobilization, enrollment support, learner retention, and the establishment of non-formal education opportunities where needed.

This partnership reflects ACT International's continued commitment to ensuring that every child has access to quality education and contributes to the Government of Pakistan's vision of leaving no child behind. Through coordinated efforts with government institutions, local communities, and education stakeholders, ACT aims to help create sustainable pathways to learning for some of the country's most vulnerable children.

As implementation begins, ACT International looks forward to working closely with all partners to transform educational access and opportunity in ICT, one community at a time.
